In immediate danger, call 000

For immediate danger, serious injury or urgent medical help, call 000 first. Contact us once everyone is safe — do not wait on us before calling emergency services.

There are two different situations here: an actual emergency, and something disrupting your scheduled supports. They need different responses.

01

What SCL may do

  • Contact emergency services
  • Follow your Emergency Plan
  • Contact an authorised emergency contact
  • Arrange a suitably qualified replacement worker
  • Change or temporarily adjust your supports
  • Let you and your support network know what is happening
  • Help coordinate continuity of essential supports
02

Your Emergency Plan

Your Participant Emergency Plan covers emergency contacts, safe meeting points, evacuation arrangements, and how supports adapt during an emergency or interruption. It is built with you and updated as things change.

03

SCL is not an emergency service

Our phones are not monitored around the clock. In an immediate emergency, call 000 first and tell us afterwards.
